Title: Managing screens, nurturing minds – helping families find balance in a digital world

Description: In a world where screens are everywhere, how can parents create healthy boundaries without battles?

This practical webinar explores the impact of screen time on children’s development, wellbeing and relationships. It offers simple, realistic and balanced strategies to help parents feel more confident. Whether you’re navigating tantrums over tablets, wondering how much is too much or when (and if at all) to allow screen time, join us for an honest conversation filled with expert insights, relatable stories, and tools you can use right away. The aim is to help you build a digital routine that supports your family.

We will do this by covering the following:

  • Understanding the impact of screen time on brain development, sleep and emotional regulation.
  • Establishing effective boundaries around screens.
  • Screens and children with SEND: benefits, risks and strategies for support.
  • Exploring positive impact of screens:
    • Can they support – nor replace – real-world relationships?
    • Can screens be used as emotional coping tools?
  • Troubleshooting:
    • recognising signs of screen overuse or dependency
    • navigating peer pressure and digital FOMO.
