what is a haf camp?
The Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme is a Department for Education funded initiative that aims to support children from disadvantaged families during the school holidays because of increased costs (such as food and childcare) and reduced incomes. Commissioned by Gloucestershire County Council, the purpose of HAF is to make sure children and young people are entertained, active, educated, safe and fed during certain holiday periods.
Move More are one of many providers that help to deliver this programme across Cheltenham and Tewkesbury. Camp dates, times and locations are variable and separate to our parent-paid camps and must be booked via the Gloucestershire County Councils booking platform.
