Details: The easy nature of Floorball means that it is totally accessible for everyone to try and open to all levels of fitness and ability. We are seeing more and more children playing and loving the sport because of this very reason. All that is needed to be able to enjoy Floorball is a good pair of trainers, some sporty clothes, a Floorball stick (which you may be able to borrow) and a bundle of energy. The rules of Floorball are less restricting than a lot of stick sports, you can use both sides of the stick, you can play the ball against the rink or walls if playing in a sports hall, you can even use your feet to control the ball. Floorball, like Ice-Hockey is played in lines with 5 players and a goalie on the pitch or court with the possibility of changing your full line of 5 for a second line of 5 or even changing individuals if you have less players available. This means whilst players are on they can give 100% knowing that they can afford to do so as they can have a break when they hear ‘Change’. It’s Fun, it’s fast and it’s super good for fitness.
