Location: Sandford Parks Lido – GL53 7PU
Time: 9:15am-11:15am (Swimming completed by 10:45am)
Teams: Should be made up of pupils in Years 5 & 6 who are not club swimmers.
A team will equate to a either a minimum of 8 boys and 8 girls or a maximum of 12 boys and 12 girls.
Students should be able to swim 30m comfortably as they may not be able to touch the bottom of the pool as lanes span both the shallow and deep end.

Event Maximum capacity – 12 Lanes – 12 Teams in total.
The best dressed teacher will win a prize also.
Safeguarding Procedures
On arrival there may still be public onsite so please make sure children are supervised appropriately. If your teams could arrive changed, with their swimming costumes underneath their school uniform, this would help a great deal.
The Lido will be closing off an outdoor changing room area for children from 8:30am in which to allow children to get changed, there is separate changing for boys and girls as you enter the Lido on the left and right hand sides, there should be no members of the public in these changing areas, if there is please alert a member of staff.
Once all of the public have changed they will leave the site and the venue will be solely ours, this should be between 9:15-11am
Once children have finished their individual races, we would like them to get changed so we don’t have a huge number of children in the changing spaces at the end of the gala. The next public swim session starts at 11am so we would like all children changed by the time the gates reopen.
