Location: Hartpury University (College)
Time: 10am-1:30pm
Teams: Year 5 and 6 mixed – up to 10 children
Children who do not usually represent your school within competitive school sport should ideally be selected.
There will be five activity stations that all participating schools will circulate around in order to familiarise themselves with Orienteering techniques and skills to include:
- Word play – 4-5 letter words
- Loops 1 and 2 (course of up to 1 km round)
- Naughty numbers
- Maze Islands
- Obstacle course and symbol match
There will be a timed event to conclude this event in order to select two fastest/top teams for the purposes of the linked County event.
County finals will occur in June 2019 for top two teams.
