QUESTION: What was the best sporting moment of the summer 2021?
- 4 students on each team (3 in debate and 1 in audience)
- Each team has a maximum of 2 Points of Interest (questions) to ask the other teams.
- 1st Speaker on each team (3 minutes)
- Bell will sound after the first 2 minutes
- Only opposing teams may ask a POI (Point of Interest) after the first speaker.
- POIs can be addressed immediately by the speaker or refer the point to be answered by the 2nd speaker or in the summation if they wish.
- 2nd Speaker on each team (3 minutes)
- Bell will sound after the first 2 minutes
- Only opposing teams may add a Point of Interest after the 2nd speaker if they have any left.
- No POI can come from the audience.
- Questions from the audience
- Questions will be invited from the audience for each team individually
- Each team will receive a maximum of 2 questions
- Judges’ Questions
- The judges will ask the teams 1 question each
- There will be a 6 minute break in order for the teams to prepare their summation and answer the questions posed as well as any remaining POIs which they haven’t addressed. (4th member may join the team for this 5 minute section)
- Summary Speaker on each team (3 minutes)
- This is an uninterrupted summation with no POIs allowed at any point.
